Ask the plant a question. Check the answer before you act.
Answering one operational question can take several systems, a document nobody can find, a calculation in somebody's spreadsheet and two phone calls. By the time the answer reaches the person deciding, the condition may already have moved.
Every answer shows its working.
Muono returns the data it used, the source each figure came from and how the answer was calculated. Before a decision, that means the answer can be checked by the person who owns the consequence. Afterwards, the reasoning is still there when someone asks why the call was made.
Ask once. Watch from then on.
The same calculation that answered the question keeps running, so the condition is monitored instead of re-checked by hand.
The first time someone asks what a reading is doing relative to its limit, the answer takes work: find the tag, find the limit, find the document that set the limit. Muono does that once and then keeps the result live, recalculating as new readings arrive.
When the figure crosses the limit your team wrote down, the person responsible is told, with the reading, the limit and the document that set the limit already attached. Nobody spends the first ten minutes assembling it.
A question asked once becomes a condition monitored.
Any answer worth having again can become a live indicator. Muono recalculates it as new information arrives, and your team sets the thresholds and the person who should be told when it moves outside them. The work of asking is done once.
Your questions, answered
- Where do the answers come from?
- Your own data on your own tenant. Answers are grounded in the model of your plant rather than generated from outside sources, and every figure names the system it came from.
- Can I see how it reached an answer?
- Yes. Every answer can show the readings it used and the calculation it ran. That is the point of it. An answer you cannot check is not usable near an operating plant.
- Do I need to know any query syntax?
- No. Ask in plain language. There is nothing to learn before you start, which is the difference between a tool a field operator uses and one that only the analyst can drive.
- Who on the team can ask questions?
- Anyone with access to the workspace. Field operators retrieve current asset information, engineers investigate developing conditions, managers ask what changed and why. All against the same record.
